– Ved Shastra Parishad (VSP), Rajamahendravaram, established & registered in 1937 with the blessings and guidance of Paramacharya of Kanchipuram, to protect and spread Vedic culture and Sanatana Dharmam by Hota Veerabhadrayya garu, along with other likeminded dharmic people.
– Since then, examinations are being conducted every year for a week preceding Janmastami. Veda vidyarthis from more than 200 Veda pathshalas and gurukulas all over India attend parikshas in different sakhas of all four Vedas and Smartam (Paurohityam) also. VSP is the only Institution other than Kanchipuram, where in examinations are conducted for all Sakhas of all Vedas.
– Famous Exponents in Vedas and Sastras are invited from reputed Veda Pathasalas, Mutts like Sringeri, Kanchipuram, Datta Peetham, TTD institutions etc., on deputation as examiners along with renowned scholars locally and from other states.
