Founded on April 13, 1937, Veda Sastra Parishat emerged as a beacon of spiritual and moral revival on the banks of the Gauthami Godavari in Rajamahendravaram. Established on the auspicious day of Ugadi (Sri Eeswara Nama samvatsara Chaitra Sukla Prathipatti), the institution was born from the guidance of His Holiness Sri Sri Sri Chandra Sekhara Saraswathi Mahaswami (Paramacharya) garu and the collective vision of prominent citizens.
The founding members, including luminaries such as Brahma Sri Hota Veerabhadrayya garu, Sri Nyapathi Subbarao Pantulu garu, Sri Veeraghantla Lakshminarasimha Murthy garu, Sri Vemuri Viswanadha Sarma garu, Sri Bulusu Papayya Sastri garu, and Sri Prabhala Lakshminarasimham Pantulu garu of Visakhapatnam, united to address the decline of moral and spiritual values in the society
Veda Sastra Parishat’s mission encompasses:

Over eight and half decades, the institution has flourished under the blessings of Mahaswami and the leadership of distinguished individuals like Sri Hota Veerabhadrayya garu, Sri Bulusu Papayya Sastri garu, Sri Hota Sivarama Sastri garu, Sri Vadrevu Venkapparao garu, Sri Peesapati Surya Prakasam garu, Sri Veluri L.N Venkata Ramayya garu, and Sri Viswanadham Achyutharamayya garu.
