AN APPEAL FOR CONTRIBUTIONS
Now a days, the strength of Vedic scholars is dwindling to alarmingly low figures. It is very sad to note the deterioration which may lead to extinction of Adhyayanam of Vedas and Sastras which are mainly useful to interpret the tenets of Vedic lore and also the guiding factor to protect Sanatana Dharmam and Culture. There is an urgent need to maintain, protect and preserve the great lineage of eternal truth-the Vedas-which, we are afraid, are fast disappearing for lack of support and patronage of their custodians. In order to realize even a few of cherished ideals for the cause of Vedas and Vedic Scholars, financial assistance needed liberally. It is the moral duty of every Hindu to strive for the upkeep and promotion of Sanatana Dharma which is the only panacea of the modern evils prevailing in the society. But, in spite of investing our best efforts for mobilizing funds for this noble cause, we are still far away from fully realizing the set objectives for which the Parishat was established.
Organising and conducting examinations, rewarding succeeded students, providing remuneration to examiners and felicitating Vedic scholars in a befitting manner every year involves huge expenditure (about ten lakhs rupees).
Therefore, it is appealed to all like-minded to contribute generously to the sacred cause with a liberal heart and make this Parishat a doyen for protecting and upkeep of ancient culture.
Lodging and boarding expenditures for all attendees is borne by the Hota family since 1937. It is noteworthy to mention here that Late Shri Veluri LN Venkataramayya Garu, F/o Shri Veluri Ramachandra Garu (President, VSP) donated 500 Sq. Yards plot on AV Apparao Road, Rajahmundry.
Every year the accounts of the Parishat are audited and statements are published and circulated.
